Our Mission
Grace Community Development, Inc. was founded on the principles of compassion, empowerment, and service. Our mission is to serve as a beacon of hope for families, children, and individuals by offering support, education, and resources that foster growth, stability, and success. We are here to walk alongside you on your journey, helping you overcome challenges and achieve your full potential.
What We Offer
- Family Support Services We understand that families are the backbone of our community. That’s why we offer a variety of support services tailored to meet the unique needs of each family. Whether you’re facing financial hardships, seeking counseling, or need assistance navigating social services, our team is here to help.
- Educational Programs Education is key to a brighter future. At GCD, we provide educational programs for all ages, including after-school tutoring, literacy classes, and vocational training. Our goal is to equip our community members with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in school, work, and life.
- Youth and Teen Programs Our youth and teen programs are designed to empower the next generation. - Health and Wellness Initiatives We are dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of our community. - Food and Clothing Assistance No one should have to worry about where their next meal will come from or whether they have adequate clothing. GCD provides food and clothing assistance to families in need. Our pantry is stocked with nutritious food, and our clothing closet offers gently used items for all ages.
- Community Outreach and Events Building a strong community is at the heart of what we do. GCD organizes regular outreach events, workshops, and community gatherings to bring people together and foster a sense of belonging. These events are an opportunity for us to connect, learn, and support one another.
- Spiritual Support In collaboration with Grace Missionary Baptist Church, we offer spiritual support and guidance to those seeking it. Our church services, Bible studies, and prayer groups are open to everyone, providing a space for spiritual growth and connection.
